Time of Unparalleled Darkness

As part of the release of 0.1.23 today (if all goes well), I am considering what accomplishments I want to make the milestones that would see a 0.1.24 release.

Here's what you can look forward to in the next release after this one:

• Subraces system
• Potion crafting system
• Delivery/porter/messenger quests inside and between Barovian cities
• Ability to join the Church of Ezra, Zeidenburg Garda, Krofburg Garda, and Renika Garda factions.
• Key control system for the Inns.
• Completion of three outstanding dungeons:
  • the Abandoned House
  • Bloated Leech Basement
  • Gundarakite Rebel Encampment
• Completely fill in the Merchant's Row in Zeidenburg, Renika, and Krofburg.

These won't be the only changes of course - there will be continued development on the prestige classes for instance, but these are the aims for 0.1.24.

Some things I'm looking into but won't be promising for this particular release:

• Bloodlines/family system
• Unstuck command
• Red Vardo Traders faction
• Completion of some other dungeons:
  • Kislova Shipwreck
  • Krofburg Caverns
  • The Writhing Maze of Tepurich
  • Argynvostholt
  • the Vaults of Quinn Roche
  • Tsolenka Pass Tower
• Vampirism affliction for players
• Additional unique character art for our NPCs
• Additional voice sets

These will all likely see at least some progress, but if they're not done when the above is they'll push to the next release.

The next release will be this time next year, or whenever the milestones are completed, whichever comes first.
